Make YOUR desktop a digitizer! ! ! digiMatic for Windows or Macintosh revolutionizes the tedious process of extracting usable data from any graphic, plot, chart, or diagram. Engineers, chemists, physicists, programmers, CAD users, financial analysts - anyone who needs accurate, editable (X,Y) data from existing graphs, charts, spectral data, chromatograms, or virtually any other type of data image will want to use digiMatic.
MouseMode digitizing can be used with tablets, scanned-in images, even overhead transparencies! Three different, easy-to-use AutoScan Modes for use with scanned-in images create a data recovery and screen digitizing tool unequaled in power and application. Mix and match Mouse and AutoScan Modes in a single session to optimize results.
A full set of image editing tools including Save and Revert functions for partially edited images makes AutoScanning with digiMatic fast and accurate. Four different eraser size choices make editing images prior to AutoScanning quick and easy.
digiMatic's unique "unrotate" algorithm frees users from wasting time attempting to align images to screen-square. A unique "play back" feature lets user see the data points they have recorded before editing, copying, or saving to disk.
Linear, semi-log and log-log graphs are supported by digiMatic. The user may choose integer, decimal, or scientific notation display with up to four decimals. Enhanced editing of digitized values includes a powerful "Save Only Nth Point" algorithm.
Other editing features include automatic estimation of areas under curves and arc lengths.

Additional information:
digiMatic was developed to take the pain, frustration, and error out of the time-consuming chore of recovering data values from printed charts and graphs. If you have ever recovered data values with the old ruler and magnifying glass method, you need digiMatic! digiMatic works with any of the programs you already have so you can use drawing, painting, spreadsheet, graphics, or even word processing documents to display scanned images. It works beautifully with graphics tablets and can even be used by temporarily taping an overhead transparency of a graph over your monitor. Non-orthogonality in any image display is automatically corrected during digitizing, whether in Manual mode or in AutoScanning mode. Use digiMatic for discrete data points, continuous curves, spectrums, and chromatograms. The program supports linear and log axes in any combination, automatically sorts data by X values before saving, automatically estimates areas under curves, and will even estimate an arc length automatically. digiMatic saves tab-delimited data to disk in either Portrait or Landscape mode so you can effortlessly import your data into spreadsheets, graphics or user-written programs.
